What we do

Movin’ Legacy, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to forward the legacy of art, people and culture, proudly presents REACH for Arts, an interdisciplinary performing arts program designed to provide young people with robust tutelage and rigorous training opportunities, helping them to develop bold, specific and clear “voices”. This 3-week summer intensive is aimed at developing the skills of talented young singers, dancers and actors between the ages of 14 to 18 that are interested in enhancing their technical proficiency and exploring their creative abilities in a nurturing environment. Realize dreams, Encourage team-work, Articulate objectives, Cultivate positive networks, and Harmonize goals is our formula for empowering youth to use their innate talent to be leaders in the larger society.

Training faculty includes Indy’s own: Kimberly Kenny, Rich Trotman and Nick Owens guided by world renowned, award-winning director and choreographer Jeffrey Page. The weekly training schedule will also include special guest artists that represent the best and brightest of NYC and LA from Broadway, Television, Film and World Tours to offer focused coaching sessions with participants. A total of only 60 deserving students will be accepted into the program (20 students for the Dance concentration, 20 students for the Singing/Voice concentration, and 20 students for the Acting concentration).
